Students rotate through the thermometer, windsock, and rain gauge station, using teacher-supported picture scales to note hot/warm/cold, no wind/little wind/strong wind, and rain/no rain. Pairs compare today’s tool readings to yesterday’s class record and decide which day had more or less of one feature. Each child gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback on whether the spoken comparison matches the tool evidence, and revises the comparison before adding it to the class weather chart.
