🎪 Fraction Fair Planning Board Defense

Effective Communication Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Collaboration CCSS.Math.Content.6.NS.A.1 CCSS.Math.Content.6.NS.B.3 CCSS.Math.Content.6.NS.B.2 Submission Required Grading Required

Teams set up their Everyday Fractions Planning Board and Investigation Report, then present one multi-step snack-shop or recipe investigation to classmates or visiting guests in a gallery-style Fraction Fair. Each presentation must include visual models, equations, simplified answers, and a spoken explanation of why each operation fits the context; teams must also address one audience question and revise one unclear part after a peer feedback round in which each student gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and makes a quick update. At the end, each student places a sticky note on the class confidence chart showing their confidence with fraction operations and writes one sentence about what helped them.
