🏛️ Policy Voices Q&A Notes

Students participate in a brief Q&A with a city council member or school board member about how rules or policies are made, whose voices are heard, and what happens when people disagree. In pairs, they complete a comparison note-catcher linking the guest’s examples to rule-making in The Giver, then record a short partner reflection on whose voices shaped the policies discussed and how that compares to the novel. Students add two new civic evidence points to their tracker with a credibility note.
