Teams present one possible sensor-based bin monitoring approach they want to pursue, supported by their source review, root-cause findings, model comparison, and early concept sketches. The proposal includes a claim for why the approach will be effective, the function type they expect to use for prediction, and how the design responds to user needs from sanitation staff and mentors. After teacher and peer review, teams revise once more before moving into the next phase.
