Students rotate through baskets of fruits, vegetables, grains, and packaged foods with price tags, then sort items by natural or processed, low cost or higher cost, and where families might get them. A grocery store manager and/or food pantry staff member joins for a short conversation about seasonal produce, low-cost healthy choices, and how families use community food resources. Students end with a quick circle share: one thing they noticed and one question they still have about helping families get healthy food.
