🏛️ Meet Our School Government Helper
Effective Communication
Academic Mindset
3.4.4
Students participate in a live interview with a school staff member (e.g., principal, campus supervisor, or office manager) about how local government decisions impact the school (safety rules, lunch programs, playgrounds, traffic laws). As a class, students co-create 3–4 open-ended questions focused on daily life and the three branches (Who makes the rules? Who carries them out? What happens if someone breaks them?). Students take notes on direct quotes and listen for examples connected to legislative, executive, and judicial roles.
