🧩 User Clues to Big Ideas

Students bring their empathy maps and interview drawings from Phase 1. In small groups, they share one quote or drawing from each of their two users and place picture cards (e.g., tiny numbers, confusing hands, not knowing :30) onto chart paper. As a class, students cluster similar needs together (affinity mapping) and name each group with a simple phrase such as “Need bigger numbers” or “Need help with half past.” The teacher models how to turn one cluster into a spoken problem frame: “Our users get confused when…”.
