🧠 Feelings Pattern Sort & HMW Poster

Students lay out picture-supported quotes and drawings from their interviews on the rug. As a class, they sort them into feeling groups (sad, mad, glad, scared) and sensory groups (see, hear, touch, taste, smell) using large labeled mats. In small groups, students use a sentence frame to orally draft a “How Might We help ___ understand feelings using CVC words?” question and create a simple poster with their final HMW and 1–2 drawn user quotes as evidence. Groups briefly share while classmates check that the question names a user and does not name a solution.
