🧪 Testing Questions with Mini Models

The teacher models two simple investigation types using cups of clean/dirty water and a small habitat tray: (1) a fair test changing one thing (amount of sand in a filter) and (2) an observation of what is already happening (counting floating debris). Students act out changing one variable while others observe. As a class, students sort their own research questions into "fair test" or "observe and count" to decide which approach fits best.
