Learning Goals
Students will be able to explain Earth's rotation and revolution as the cause of day/night cycles and seasons.
Students will be able to construct and use a tilted 3D Earth model with a lamp and North Star label to demonstrate axial tilt, rotation, and revolution.
Students will be able to communicate evidence from their Earth model to show how axial tilt and unequal sunlight create seasonal and climate patterns.

Earth Movements Explanation Sheet
Students complete a labeled explanation sheet that uses their model to show how rotation, revolution, and axial tilt produce day/night and seasons. The sheet includes a short written explanation and evidence from observations with the lamp and North Star label.
3D Earth Model Demonstration and Oral Presentation
Teams build and present a working Earth model that demonstrates rotation, revolution, and axial tilt using the required materials. During the presentation, the team explains how the model shows day/night, seasons, and climate-related sunlight patterns.
