Design
Design
Students will design a clear, systematic methodology to investigate the scientific accuracy of a selected scene or claim from *The Black Hole*, aligning their research question with an appropriate approach, credible sources, and a detailed data collection plan before gathering evidence.
Day 2
Collect
Collect
Students will systematically collect and document evidence comparing selected scenes from *The Black Hole* to established astrophysics research, carefully recording timestamps, sources, observational conditions, and anomalies in their individual research notebooks to build a reliable dataset for later analysis.
Day 3
Analyze
Analyze
Students will transform their collected evidence from film scenes and scientific sources into meaningful interpretations by creating visualizations, identifying patterns and anomalies, and evaluating how their findings relate to their original research question and hypothesis about black hole portrayals.
