Learning Goals
Students will be able to explain how amplitude is related to the energy of a wave using a simple model and mathematical representations.
Students will be able to model how waves are reflected, absorbed, or transmitted through different materials using examples from light.
Students will be able to analyze how frequency and wavelength relate to pitch in sound and color in light to communicate patterns in wave behavior.

Digital Wave Documentary
Each student creates a short digital documentary explaining how wave properties affect light and sound. The documentary must use evidence from investigations, models, and examples from the gallery stations.
Pitch Perfect Light Interactive Exhibit
Small teams design and present an interactive gallery exhibit that demonstrates how waves interact with materials and how amplitude, frequency, and wavelength affect what people see and hear. Visitors should be able to test, observe, and discuss the science through the exhibit.
