🎏 Koinobori Kickoff Festival

Students rotate through three short stations: viewing real koinobori images and video clips, examining sample recycled materials (toilet paper rolls, cardstock, tissue paper), and discussing essential questions about cultural symbolism and sustainability. The teacher introduces the design challenge and explains that strong kites begin with understanding real people’s experiences with cultural traditions.
