🧠 Evidence-to-Conclusion Mini-Lesson

MS-ESS2-3

Teacher models how to move from graphed distance–age data and magnetic striping patterns to warranted claims. Using a sample student graph, the class identifies a pattern, states a claim, cites at least two pieces of evidence, and distinguishes between supported conclusions and overgeneralizations. Students annotate their own graphs and tables in their notebooks, highlighting evidence they will use in their final conclusion.
