Students create a first model in their Life Cycle Investigation Notebook using drawings, arrows, stage cards, and simple labels to show how one plant and one animal change over time. They include birth, growth, reproduction, and death as age-appropriate picture symbols or teacher-supported words. During a short partner round, each student gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and revises one part of the draft before closing circle share.
