Teams rehearse a mock San Diego Zoo or horticulturalist visit using teacher role-play and photo stations. Students rotate through stations to collect evidence with their chosen tools, then give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise one notebook page or audio plan to make it clearer and more complete. The teacher prompts students to notice whether their evidence could help support or change an idea about how living things grow.
