In teams, students transfer key interview quotes, observations, and historical research insights onto sticky notes (one idea per note). They cluster notes into themes (e.g., changing roles, fear and courage, brotherhood, public perception) and label each cluster. Teams identify at least one surprising or non-obvious pattern about how soldiers’ roles evolved or how veterans want their stories remembered.
