Students will encounter a puzzling local ecosystem phenomenon, analyze real ecological data, and refine broad curiosity into focused, investigable research questions with specific hypotheses that will guide their individual field investigations and feed into a larger team study.

Students will systematically collect ecological data aligned to their individual research questions, document conditions and anomalies with precision, conduct mid-collection quality checks, and prepare organized raw datasets that will serve as the foundation for rigorous analysis in the next phase.

Analyze
