Students individually brainstorm what they think people today need to learn (e.g., honesty online, loyalty in friendships). In small groups, they sort ideas into themes and identify which ideas are assumptions versus evidence-based. The class creates an anchor chart titled "What We Think People Need to Learn" to revisit after interviews.
