🎭 Imaginative Mask Day Kickoff

Students experience a gallery-style showcase of global masks with a focused look at Puerto Rican Vejigante masks (images, short video clip, and physical example if available). The teacher introduces the Essential Questions and frames the challenge: design a 3D paper mask that communicates cultural understanding and personal identity for a real audience (family night visitors and Virtual Mask Museum viewers). Students complete a quick written notice/wonder about how geometry and symbolism shape viewer experience.
