Students will engage in conversations with their families to understand the role of herbs and spices in their cultural cooking, recording insights and capturing stories that emphasize family traditions and culinary preferences.

Students will collaboratively articulate the project's goals, establish the importance of incorporating diverse herbs and spices in the school garden, and create a vision statement outlining how this will foster multicultural understanding within our community.

Students will collaborate with peers and community partners to brainstorm creative ways to integrate diverse herbs and spices into our school garden while considering local conditions and multicultural aspects, enhancing cultural understanding and inclusivity.

Students will draft detailed outlines and preliminary sketches of garden layouts using chosen herbs and spices, alongside initial drafts of slide presentations and creative written works, collaboratively integrating community and cultural insights gathered so far.
