In small groups, students distill initial findings into a focused problem frame by drafting a Point-of-View (POV) statement, formulating How Might We (HMW) questions, building user personas, and creating a simple problem tree or systems map. They will make direct contact with a real user or stakeholder to gather empathy data and collect artifacts such as quotes and sketches. The framing will be iterated with peer feedback and quick user testing to refine the problem space before moving to a full definition.
