Students revisit notes from informational read-alouds and cafeteria worker/principal interviews. In small groups, they match at least two facts (e.g., about nutrients or menu planning) to a pattern in their data. They use the sentence frame: “The text/interview says… so our data might show…” and record the connection in their notebook.
