Diverse Source Analysis

Students begin building their Source Analysis Portfolio by collecting at least eight sources from varied types (scholarly articles, legal texts, psychology studies, news reports, court opinions, and expert commentary). They will evaluate credibility using a CRAAP-style rubric, extract key evidence notes, and map perspectives—identifying who is making each claim, what the claim is, and why it matters to duty of care in social media contexts.
