Students will engage in interviews and surveys with diverse community members—such as parents, teachers, and students—regarding the potential shift to a four-day school week to understand varied perspectives and document their findings in a reflective journal entry.

Students will synthesize their research on the four-day school week by developing a problem statement that captures the diverse needs and perspectives of stakeholders, setting the foundation for innovative solutions.

Students will collaborate in diverse teams to brainstorm and visually map out a wide range of potential solutions to adopting a four-day school week, using mind-mapping and sketching techniques, while reflecting on feedback from the Schedule Swap Simulation to ensure innovative and inclusive ideas.

Students will collaboratively build and present mock schedules crafted from stakeholder perspectives, receiving peer feedback and critiques in workshops, and iteratively refine their models based on this feedback, ultimately creating testable versions for further exploration.

Students will present their findings and proposed solutions regarding the four-day school week to a panel of stakeholders, engage in a feedback session to refine their presentations, and prepare reflective journals on their experiences and insights gained through the process.
