Interview 2-3 users or stakeholders related to your senior project and collect empathy artifacts (notes and quotes) to ground your framing. Synthesize insights into a concise POV statement, draft 3-5 How Might We (HMW) questions, develop 2-3 user personas, and sketch a simple problem tree or systems map that identifies the defining challenge for your digital portfolio project. Use a quick peer feedback session to iterate and refine your framing.

Student-facing instructions
In this workshop, you will conduct interviews with 2-3 users related to your project. Gather empathy artifacts through notes and quotes. Use these to develop a Point of View (POV) statement and draft 3-5 How Might We (HMW) questions. Collaborate with peers to create 2-3 user personas and map out challenges using a problem tree or systems map. Conclude with peer feedback to refine your work. Have your interview notes, a way to record data and any templates provided at hand.
