Meet Local Voices (60 min)

Visit two neighborhood spots in San Diego and talk with owners or patrons to discover personal stories about why these places matter. Work with a partner to practice open-ended questions, capture quick field notes, and collect a memorable quote or moment. Create a simple empathy snapshot that highlights a person’s needs and the cultural meaning of the place to share with the class.
