In small groups, you explore a school or community issue by talking with a partner or role-playing a community member. Your group will create four empathy-based artifacts: a simple point-of-view (POV) statement about the user, 2–3 How Might We (HMW) questions framed as questions, a persona card featuring a drawn character with a few words, and a basic systems map or problem tree showing connections and causes. You will share your artifacts with another group and receive brief, constructive feedback to help refine your problem definition.
