Products

Throughout this learning experience, you'll produce a digital portfolio showcasing all the films you create over the project period. This portfolio will serve as a comprehensive reflection of your journey from concept to completion, illustrating your growth in skills such as acting, writing, camera work, and editing. Additionally, by the end of the experience, you'll host an exhibition where you loop all your films, providing an opportunity to share your achievements and engage with feedback from industry professionals and peers.

Launch

Kick off the project by organizing a film screening event where you revisit and analyze your Freshman year Romeo and Juliet film. Use this as a springboard to discuss what you learned, what aspects you want to improve on, and set specific goals for your upcoming films. Engage with the Chula Vista Entertainment Complex professionals in an interactive Q&A session to gain insights into the current trends and considerations in the film industry. This will help you refine your approach and inspire your new filmmaking journey.

Exhibition

Invite community members, peers, and film professionals from the Chula Vista Entertainment Complex to attend a film showcase event where you will screen your completed films. Set up an interactive gallery with behind-the-scenes footage, storyboard displays, and actor interviews. Host Q&A sessions where guests can engage with you about your creative process, challenges faced, and reflections on improvement. Collect feedback from attendees through structured forms or digital platforms to gain insights into the impact and quality of your work. Use this event as a platform to not only highlight your films but to also discuss broader implications on local culture and media.
