DJ Concept Ideation Pack
Pair up with a partner to explore a wide range of DJ set concepts guided by your kick-off insights and community interactions. You will conduct a brief empathy interview with a community member or professional DJ, create empathy artifacts (persona notes, key quotes, and needs statements), and prototype ideas through concept sketches or storyboards. Focus on quantity in brainstorming, then evaluate concepts with a Feasibility/Impact matrix that assesses technical needs, cultural resonance, and audience relevance. Identify your Top 3 concepts with clear rationales that explain how they weave historical and cultural influences into a live set, and compile these artifacts into a single deliverable for later review. This work centers on human-centered design through direct user contact, iterative sketches, and quick feedback loops with your partner. The outputs from this deliverable will guide subsequent testing and refinement.
