Products

Throughout this 30-week project, students will develop a robust digital portfolio that showcases their academic growth, skills, and aspirations. They will create a comprehensive resume and gather artifacts from their coursework to highlight their competencies. The portfolio presentation will serve as a capstone event where students effectively communicate their learning journey, incorporating insights from guest speakers and mentors. Students will also collaborate to curate a peer feedback session, offering each other constructive input to refine their final presentations.

Launch

To kick off this learning experience, organize a Portfolio Launch Day where students listen to a panel of guest speakers, including successful alumni and industry professionals, who share their own portfolio journeys. Students will then participate in a brainstorming session to define their personal and academic goals for the portfolio project. This session encourages students to envision their portfolios as dynamic storytellers of their unique skills and aspirations. Conclude the launch with a collaborative activity in which students create mind maps outlining their intended portfolio themes, fostering an environment of creativity and peer support from the outset.

Exhibition

Throughout this 30-week project, students will create and present a comprehensive portfolio that highlights their skills, experiences, and aspirations. This portfolio will be reinforced by artifacts from various learning experiences, including engaging sessions with mentors and guest speakers. Students will have dedicated time to develop and refine their resumes, ensuring these documents effectively communicate their competencies. Towards the end of the project, students will showcase their work in a Presentation of Learning event, delivering well-crafted oral presentations that reflect the standards met and the skills mastered. This exhibition will serve as a platform for students to articulate their growth and future goals to peers, mentors, and community members.
