Sports Medicine Exhibition
Students present their final sports medicine solutions to an authentic audience that includes baseball players, coaches, and local sports medicine professionals. They showcase instructional videos on joint-wrapping techniques, preventative care posters, and live demonstrations of diagnostic and treatment procedures. The event includes a Q&A session and feedback collection from real users, with students capturing insights and identifying iterative improvements to their solutions. Hosted at the school athletic facility, the exhibition provides a platform for students to articulate user needs, problem framing, design decisions, and the impact of their work on athlete health and performance. The assessment will be scored using a rubric that evaluates User Understanding, Problem Definition, Creative Problem-Solving, Prototyping & Iteration, and Communication & Presentation.
