Students will conduct interviews and engage with local advocacy groups to research and gather insights on how language influences cultural identity, societal values, and community issues, ultimately compiling their findings into a digital portfolio and presenting them to peers for feedback.

Students will synthesize research and insights from community partners to collaboratively define a pressing linguistic problem affecting cultural identity, refining it into a succinct problem statement while utilizing participial adjectives and considering future real conditionals.

Students will collaboratively brainstorm diverse linguistic innovations and communication strategies, using community insights gathered from advocacy partners, to address how language can influence cultural identity and solve societal issues effectively.

Students will build and test prototypes of technological communication tools that demonstrate innovative approaches to solving real-world community language challenges, while collaborating with local advocacy groups and participating in reflective exhibitions and digital portfolios.

Students will present their innovative solutions that incorporate linguistic principles to community partners, receive and integrate feedback to refine their product, craft a final project presentation for an exhibition, and post a reflective video journaling how their language choices impacted cultural identity and societal values.
