Challenge Definition

Students explore how small urban living spaces affect people who live in them and why it matters to their community. They meet with a local interior designer and two other community members to gather perspectives and evidence (pictures, drawings, short quotes) showing how spaces help or hinder daily life. Working in small groups, they identify who is affected, describe why the challenge matters, collect at least three pieces of evidence, and end with a 'How can we…, so that…' question to guide their work.
