Individual Celtic Science-and-Music Reflection Portfolio
Students submit a portfolio with a labeled Earth-sun-moon explanation, a short research response on a Celtic tradition or piece, and a reflection on how their musical choices communicate the connection. This product proves each student’s individual mastery of the science content and historical/cultural understanding.
Collaborative Earth-Sun-Moon Model and Celtic Performance Showcase
Teams create and present a working model of the Earth-sun-moon system and perform an original Celtic-inspired piece that connects to a specific celestial cycle or seasonal event. The showcase includes a spoken explanation of the historical and scientific connections and responds to audience questions.
