Students will explore diverse mythologies and their heroes through interactive readings and class discussions to identify cultural values and challenges, forming their own understanding to guide their personal myth creation.

Students will analyze and articulate how different heroes from various cultural myths mirror societal values and challenges, synthesizing insights from their empathy work with the Hero's Journey framework to clearly define their own narrative focus for the project.
