Students will engage in empathetic exploration by conducting interviews and surveys with peers and community members to uncover the creative needs and challenges within their environment, setting a foundation for innovative solution development in subsequent phases.

Students will synthesize insights from their empathy work to collaboratively articulate a clear problem statement, using storytelling and digital tools to document their understanding and define the creative challenge they will solve.

Students will brainstorm and sketch a variety of adventurous and innovative playground concepts, combining insights from prior phases with creative exploration, and select ideas to develop in the upcoming prototyping phase.

Students will transform their chosen creative ideas into tangible low-fidelity models using available materials, collaborating in prototype workshops with community partners, and documenting their process in daily reflection journals to prepare for iterative testing and feedback.

Students will gather feedback from peers and community partners at interactive exhibition stations, analyze this input, and collaboratively refine their prototypes over the course of four days to enhance creativity and problem-solving skills aligned with their project goals.
