American Revolution Source-Based Journal Entry

Students will write a first-person journal entry from the viewpoint of a Patriot or Loyalist, using historical evidence from class sources. The piece will show understanding of causes, challenges, and strategies from the American Revolution.

Time Traveler’s Gallery Exhibit with Comic Strip and Artifact Station

Teams will create a gallery exhibit panel, comic strip, and interactive artifact station that teach visitors about a key American Revolution event. Each team member will help explain the historical significance of the chosen event, source, or strategy during the exhibition.
