Students will be able to design and conduct controlled durability tests on nail glue combinations using Una Gella, Saviland, Market, and Melody Suzie.
Students will be able to analyze experimental data from nail durability trials to compare which nail and glue combinations last longest and why.
Students will be able to synthesize research and experiment findings into a scientific claim about the most durable press-on nail and glue combination.
Students will be able to collaborate to present and defend a shared conclusion at the Nail Durability Test Fair.
Products
Individual Scientific Analysis Report
Students will write a formal report explaining the durability of the five nail types and four glue brands, using their own test data and research. The report will include a clear claim, evidence, analysis, and conclusion about the most durable combination.
Nail Durability Test Fair Presentation and Demonstration
Teams will create and present an interactive station with a video presentation and live demonstration of their nail durability investigation. They will explain methods, compare results, and defend their shared conclusion to peers and visitors.
