By engaging in reflective journaling and storytelling, you'll enhance your ability to make connections and inferences, deepening your understanding of how past events continue to shape our world today.

Learning goals

The learning goals for this project include understanding the historical context and impact of slavery in America, developing the ability to make connections and inferences between past and present societal issues, and enhancing storytelling skills through the creation of storyboards. You will explore key arguments from both sides of the slavery debate and relate these to modern discussions on human rights and equality.
