PE Revolution: Engage, Inspire, Participate!
Purpose
This project seeks to create vibrant, inclusive PE classes that inspire all students to engage actively. By partnering with community experts and exploring innovative strategies, students will delve into a variety of sports and fitness activities, cultivating a sense of community and excitement. Through practical experiences and student-led efforts, the project supports students in shaping their physical health journey while honing their leadership and communication abilities.
Learning goals
The learning goals for this project include enhancing students' ability to research and integrate fitness technologies into PE activities, fostering leadership and communication skills through planning and conducting fitness sessions, and developing critical thinking by evaluating and revising PE strategies for inclusivity and engagement. Students will also learn to collaborate effectively with peers and community partners and gain insights into diverse sports and fitness activities. Additionally, the project aims to cultivate reflective practices by encouraging students to document and analyze their personal growth and socio-emotional experiences throughout the process.
