Examine
Students will investigate Black resistance traditions, civil rights organizations and leaders, and organizer evidence to identify patterns without treating historical and contemporary conditions as interchangeable. Acting as archive researchers, public historians, community engagement specialists, and curriculum designers, they will evaluate sources, analyze root causes, develop historically grounded case materials, and propose an evidence-based field-guide concept for BYP100, CUP, and The People's Forum.
