Students work in small groups to solve a real-world planning challenge, such as designing a family game night, snack station, mini garden, or classroom event booth. They calculate unit rates, proportional relationships, percents, and circle measurements to make their plan work. Each group creates a display with sample calculations, labeled visuals, and a simple explanation of each math skill. During the learning showcase, family members walk through the displays. Students teach their families how the math was used and explain how it helped solve the problem. Turn in the finished display and math work.
