Students will launch the career exploration project by engaging with partner-industry prompts, building a first-draft identity map, practicing career conversation moves, and capturing initial evidence in a portfolio that sets up later interviews, job shadows, and empathy mapping.

Students will gather firsthand evidence from conversations and workplace-connected experiences, organize that evidence into an empathy map, test assumptions against what they actually heard and observed, and draft an initial How Might We design brief that connects self-knowledge to possible career pathways.

Students will present their before-and-after identity maps and curated career portfolios to classmates, families, staff, and community guests, then use audience feedback to name one clear growth takeaway and one next-step pathway question.
