Students will turn prior flood-data analysis into a draft neighborhood flood-risk decision tool by studying a strong model, making a testable prediction about two drainage designs, planning their build, and documenting first-round revisions based on peer feedback.

Students will test their neighborhood flood-risk decision tool using class simulation data and peer users, document evidence of how two drainage designs perform, and record implementation results that support a revised recommendation for an NYC community board.
