Students will launch the project by examining Roman law artifacts and excerpts, discussing how written rules shape daily life, and beginning to define what makes a rule fair, clear, and useful for a real community.

Students will gather direct user feedback about fair and workable rules, analyze Roman law excerpts alongside modern examples, and turn their findings into an evidence-based design brief for a community rule challenge.

Students will present their final Fair Community Rules Poster to an authentic audience, explain how Roman law and user feedback shaped their decisions, respond to questions about fairness and community impact, and capture brief reflection evidence from the showcase.
