Students will launch the project by generating an initial class charter, testing it against authentic school expectations, and identifying early questions about how rights and responsibilities should support safety, respect, and belonging.

Students will gather and sort evidence from peer and counselor input, connect those needs to historical models of rights and responsibilities, and shape a draft design brief with a clear How Might We statement and criteria for a Class Bill of Rights poster set.

Students will present their finalized Class Bill of Rights poster sets to an authentic audience, explain how counselor and principal feedback shaped revisions, and justify how their rights and responsibilities fit real classroom scenarios and expectations.
