Students will launch the fire safety project through a firefighter-led walk-through, notice key safety features in the school, practice beginning response routines, and share initial ideas about how their actions help keep others safe.

Students will study a fire-safety story scene, ask what they still need to find out, and build a simple class evidence checklist for exits, alarms, the meeting place, and calm group behavior before the next walk-through and practice.

Students will sort and interpret evidence from their safety practice, turn their strongest examples into clear class picture book pages, and rehearse short evidence-based safety explanations for guests using feedback to improve clarity and accuracy.

Showcase
Students will share the class fire safety picture book and safety demonstrations with guests, show what they know through a brief performance checkpoint, and close with a spoken reflection about how their actions help keep the school community safe.
