Day 1
Define Art Question
Define Art Question
Students will refine a focused investigable question about what makes something art, test a draft hypothesis against examples from multiple art forms, and co-design a short evidence-gathering plan they can use in the next phase. They will use art vocabulary, compare context across examples, complete gallery walk notes, and improve their plans through peer critique before submitting a readiness checkpoint.
Days 2 - 4
Showcase

Students will present their finished artist reflections in an Art Kaleidoscope gallery walk, analyze classmates’ ideas about what counts as art, and complete a final assessed reflection that shows how their definition of art changed through evidence, discussion, and revision.
