Day 1
Question & Method
Question & Method
Students will turn early scrimmage observations into a focused team investigation by naming a question, drafting a hypothesis, building a simple data-collection method, and setting healthful warm-up, hydration, and body-use goals they can test in upcoming games.
Days 2 - 5
Analyze & Present
Analyze & Present
Students will analyze team game data from short-sided ultimate frisbee scrimmages, create simple visualizations, test claims about movement and turnover patterns, revise strategy using peer and teacher feedback, and prepare an evidence-based mini-exhibition that shows how cutting, spacing, pivoting, timing, and healthful body-use choices improve play.
Days 6 - 9
Showcase
Showcase
Students will present their ultimate frisbee investigation findings through a live exhibition match for visiting teachers and peers, apply feedback in real time, and close with a brief self-assessment conference and recorded reflection on movement, communication, and healthful performance choices.
